Can I try it before subscribing?
Yes. The first lesson, I.A.1 Foundations of Human Behavior, is completely free, with all five study tools included. Try it at backseatpilot.app.
Does it cover CFII or MEI?
Right now it’s the FOI: the material every instructor rating starts with, and the newest part of CFI prep. New content gets added as it’s released, at no extra cost.
Do I need the lesson plans to use it?
No. The app stands on its own. It follows the same structure as our CFI lesson plans, so if you have them, they work together.
How does the AI feedback work?
When you teach a topic back or answer oral-style questions, the AI evaluates your response and tells you what was solid and what needs more depth. Feedback covers teaching, orals, and mock checkrides.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. It’s month to month, no contract. Cancel in a couple of clicks and you keep access through the end of your billing period.
