CFI / ACS Updates!

The FAA is making changes to try to save you money, and our lessons have been updated to reflect the new regs!

CFI Lessons & Commercial ACS Review - Commercial Single Engine Rating: A Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) may now be used in place of, or along with, a complex or turbine powered aircraft to satisfy the 10 hours of training required in 61.129. A TAA is an airplane equipped with an electronically advanced avionics system - basically a PFD, MFD, and an integrated autopilot.

CFII Lessons & Instrument ACS Review - Recency Experience: A flight instructor is no longer required to be present to log recency experience in a simulator or Aviation Training Device (ATD), and effective November of this year, the interval to accomplish proficiency training in an ATD will be changed from 2 months to 6 months.
